FIRST OF ITS KIND
While there have been biographies written about great Florida Women, and several regional histories have also been published, this will be the first comprehensive work of women's contributions to Florida. The FCSW Foundation and the University Press of Florida are partne4ring to bring this book to fruition.

 

HIGHLIGHTS MEMBERS OF THE FLORIDA WOMEN'S HALL OF FAME
The book will highlight individuals inducted into the Florida Women's Hall of Fame, form 1982 to the present. Each of these women has made significant contributions to Florida.

 

EARLY FLORIDA HISTORY TO TODAY
From Native Americans who lived in Florida prior to European settlements to modern day pioneers, the book will span the generations of Florida's history.
