Doris Weatherford, Author
Doris Weatherford is a leading women's historian and has
been publishing books on women's history for twenty years. She serves on
the Board of the Center for Florida History at Florida Southern College,
in and adjunct professor at the University of South Florida, and is
extensively recognized for her contributions to the field of women's
studies. She served as executive editor for Women’s Almanac (2000 and
2002) and most recently completed the four-volume A History of
Women in the United States: A State-by-State Reference (2003).
