Mission:
The Florida Commission on the Status of
Women is dedicated to empowering women
in achieving their fullest potential, to
eliminating barriers to that achievement
and to recognizing women's
accomplishments.
Vision:
Florida will be a state in which women
are able to achieve their full potential
uninhibited by gender-related barriers,
and be appropriately compensated and
recognized for having done so.
Statute:
The Commission's legislative
authority now exists in
Section 14.24 Florida Statutes. |
