 Commissioner Laurie Pizzo was appointed the Commission by Attorney General Bill McCollum in 2007. Commissioner Pizzo has been a Multi-Million $$ Producer with CENTURY21® Alliance Realty since 2004. Laurie has completed her AHWD, GREEN and GRI designations. She is an appointed member to several committees for the Florida REALTORS that deal with Public Policy and REALTOR Political issues.  She is very involved with Governmental Affairs both with the Hernando County Association of REALTORS and the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce. Laurie serves on the Community Advisory Council for HCA Oak Hill Hospital. For many years Laurie has fundraised and/or ran grassroots campaigns for many candidates in Hernando County. Commissioner Pizzo is also a 2007 graduate of Leadership Hernando for the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce and a 2007 graduate of Hernando County Association of Realtors Leadership Development Program. Laurie loves to travel, kayak, the gym and her 3 wonderful felines. She is a bit of an adventurist and has skydived, swam with stingrays and dolphins. It’s the bucket list. Her belief is that life is so short it is to be lived.
