
Laurie Pizzo
Spring Hill
Commissioner Laurie Pizzo of Spring Hill was appointed the
Commission by Attorney General Bill McCollum in 2007. Commissioner Pizzo has
been a Multi-Million $$ Producer with CENTURY21® Alliance Realty since 2004.
Laurie completed her GRI designation (Graduate REALTOR® Institute). She
currently serves on the Business and Economic Development Standing Committee
appointed by the Hernando County Board of County Commission. Commissioner Pizzo
is Board Member of the Hernando County Unit Board, American Cancer Society,
Member of the Community Advisory Council for HCA Oak Hill Hospital, the Greater
Hernando County Chamber of Commerce, the Florida and National Association of
REALTORS®, the REALTORS® Political Involvement Committee, Florida Association of
REALTORS® and the Realtors Political Action Committee. She was a 2007 recipient
of the Tillie Fowler Excellence in Public Service Series Scholarship, a
statewide leadership training program for women. She was one of six highly
qualified women selected for the scholarship-based program supported by the
Republican National Committee. Commissioner Pizzo is also a 2007 graduate of
Leadership Hernando for the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce and a
2007 graduate of Hernando County Association of Realtors Leadership Development
Program.
