Commissioner Mabry of Gulf Breeze was appointed to the FCSW by Senate President Jim King in December of 2003 and reappointed in March of 2006 by Chief Financial Officer Tom Gallagher. She is currently the President and owner of Mabry and Associates, a lobbying and government consulting firm since 1982. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Florida State University and went on to receive a dual Master’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from Northern Arizona University. She has worked as a Legislative Assistant to House minority leader Ron Richmond and served as the Director at the St. Petersburg Adult Day Care Center and the Clearwater/St. Petersburg Girls Club Inc. Commissioner Mabry is very active as a volunteer in her community. Organizations near and dear to her heart include the Guardian Ad Litem Program and MANA food bank. She is also the mother of two daughters and has been married to Mike Mabry for the past 34 years.
