Commissioner Garcia of Coral Gables was appointed to the Commission in 2004 by Commissioner of Agriculture Charles Bronson. Commissioner Garcia is an attorney practicing in the area of Matrimonial Law. Mrs. Garcia is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator. Commissioner Garcia earned her J.D. in 1992 from the George Washington University National Law Center. Commissioner Garcia has served on various boards including Kidside, Inc. and the Florida International University Alumni Association and is involved with her community. Commissioner Garcia is the owner of the Law Offices of Anastasia M. Garcia and she is a shareholder and corporate counsel for Dade Steel Sales Corporation.
